Summer Camp Almada – TCM

The first edition of the Traditional Chinese Medicine Summer Camp, which will take place at the Jean Piaget School of Health in Almada between 20th of July and 1st of August, will be an excellent opportunity for you to discover the therapeutic methods of the first school to offer an official undergraduate degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine in Portugal and Europe.

During the 13 days, the students will be able to get in touch with many scientific, clinical and cultural experiences and learn from leading TCM professionals in Portugal. As well as getting to know the TCM diagnostic and therapeutic methods that are used in Portugal, participants of the first edition of the Summer Camp will also have the opportunity to visit emblematic and historic places in the cities of Lisbon and Almada.

During the programme, the students will be accommodated in the vicinity of the Piaget Institute and will be able to enjoy unrivalled views over the Tejo River and the Portuguese capital.

Summer camp participants will have access to:

• Accommodation at the Almada Youth Hostel:

- Possibility of sleeping in 2-bed or 4-bed rooms (we have four 4-bed rooms and three 2-bed rooms available).

- The journey between Almada Youth Hostel and Piaget Institute will take 30 minutes on foot

• Lunch at the Piaget Institute
• Dinner at the Almada Youth Hostel
• Transportation between airport – Almada, Hostel – Piaget Institute, and visit tours. 
• Historic tour to Lisbon, Sintra and Belém, and to Cristo Rei in Almada
